Las Vegas Timeshare Sales Process
The timeshare sales process isn't as difficult as most people think. The sale of a timeshare is no harder than selling a used automobile and then transferring the title to the new owner.
The sale of a timeshare is actually quite simple and we will now describe the entire process in the following paragraphs. Remember though, some owners will not have to complete the closing portion of the sale process. People who own memberships will only have to transfer the title to the new owners through their membership company.
How Does The Timeshare Sales Process Work
- The first step is finding the buyer or renter. It's our job to deliver potential buyers and renters to our websites. It's your job to handle the offers when they arrive in your e-mail box.
- Next is negotiating the sale price. Once you have an offer you like you must then contact the potential buyer and either accept the offer, or make a counter offer. You must have a set price agreed upon by both parties.
- Now you need to determine who pays the closing costs. We suggest that if you accept less then your advertised selling price ask the buyer to pay the costs. If they give you close to what you're asking you should pay the costs.
- It's off to the closing company. Once steps 2 and 3 have been completed call us back and we then put you in touch with the closing company. We'll need the buyers name and number along with your name and the sale price you've agreed upon.
- The closing company will then contact you and request the financing documents from the buyer and a copy of your deed or title faxed to them.
- The closing company then secures all the documents and performs the title searches. Once completed the company acts as an escrow company and then disburses your cash and the owner his title or deed.
